Fishing Regulations
Mono County fishing season opens the last Saturday in April except the Owens River below Benton Crossing Bridge
to the Fish
Monument. It opens the Saturday before Memorial Day weekend.
Hunting and Fishing Regulations
As of 05/01/07 the following areas are open to fishing year round:
*Hot Creek-barbless flies ONLY
*Upper Owens (above the bridge)-barbless artificial lures ONLY
*East Walker(below Bridgeport resevior to Nevada Line)-barbless artificial lures ONLY
